Nutrients Autobot 1st Grow, Biotabs & Mephisto

Day one when all are up and leaves out, which I guess is today...domes should stay on for a week or so if you can, until they are strong enough to handle light and air in the room. Try to get RH in room around 60 to 70 if you can, spray the domes underneath to add moisture into the environment. That works good. I use to spray a couple times a day under there.
Nice. That is a good idea. Instead of relying solely on moisture in the soil. I will start doing that.
I usually call day 1, as soon as they break ground. I guess that's not that big of a difference, about a day off. I was just curious as to the accepted standard more or less.

I m in. The moment i see the new life and the first green lobs open, i remove the plastic foil (or cup in your case) immediately. I do spray the soil around with water to keep the surface moisty few days. Just my cup :headbang: of tea.
Always did it that way, outdoor or indoor. Never used hps though. (Sun, led or now cob...less close heath radiation off course comparing to hps).
All depends on the humidity in your growspace, ventilation, light distance and light intensity.
Good luck! Once they show up you are already on and going!:d5:

I ordered a cheap little humidifier to put in the tent. Should be here in a couple days. I'm maxing out around 39%RH. Not good! Not for veg anyway. Hope it does the trick. They are still good for now with their domes. I did make some reflective pot covers to add on when they get tall enough....just put them on for the pic..That should keep my soil from getting crispy on top too quickly I hope. And worst case scenario...I have some light reflecting back upward as well.

I imagine I will likely notch out the centers for the main stem too, when the time comes. To get them even closer together
I used a radiant barrier material wrapped over cardboard. Should keep out light and a good bit of the heat.

Thanks for the comment dude! I think it is pretty intense honestly. It sure dries the soil out quick. Low RH isnt helping that either...temps are good. I'm at 84-85°F

I see the claythings (nice word, Moon :headbang:) on a few grows here.
Just at the surface? To avoid a dry out?
Congrats daddy with the new sprout.
That is just how they ended up...they are actually mixed in the soil, and lined across the bottoms about 1/2 an inch or so too. I wanted to line the bottoms originally anyway, and my go-to store was out of perlite...so I went full hydroton for added aeration instead. I read @Eyes on Fire said somewhere on here in a long friendly rant, that it was better than perlite for multiple reasons..and hey...I kinda like it lol. I would like to reuse it...but after the painful task of the trim...idk how fun that is gonna sound, picking those ass beads out of there!
:crying:
I also think you can reuse the soil with biotabs too. .so I may just leave them in and say fuggit, and reuse it all...what you guys think?
