Very interesting updates Dede :)

They do appreciate a high humidity at first, and I would say that around 70% RH would be rather optimal.

I see on your hygrrometer that you have them shifting between 33 and 79 %, but it does not tell me what your actual daytime humidity is.

Night humidity's are pretty irrelevant, but daytime RH should be kept in the higher range if possible. It'll promote a significant more lush and vigorous leaf development.

The dome would be containing stagnant air at 100% Rh, and that of course can't ever be a good thing.

But good to hear that you been noticing this your selves already and have been taking appropriate measurements.

I'd like to recommend you to work with Earth Worm Castings for a 1/2 to 1 cm thick layer topping.

Chickenshit / sea weed pellets and a bit of wood ash would do the trick as well.

Please be careful with salts, but they do love themselves a healthy dose of organic juice.

Always good to cover the surface of your soil with some plastic sheeting.

Atb with the journey Dede, will be watching your show with great interest and comment when required.

Thanks and appreciate having you here. Got some ewc on hand so will make sure to top dress her a bit. Also confirmed one male, double fun, he got pulled and tossed, will be stating a new seed tomorrow.

Males will usually show themselves a couple of days earlier as the females, and because of their initial more vigorous root system, will usually also appear the biggest and best looking ones. Females roots will be less vigorous at first, but will catch up and continue to expand long after males have died off.
A botanic feature just, I thought I let you know.

To avoid getting them grow too tall for your led's, you are supposed to train them as soon as you can > Bending down side branches and growth tip and keep it all low and in place with pipe cleaners. Better not to cut or trim anything off at all.

Please be careful with the Cal/Mag. > 1guy1plants grow got fucked up because of it. ^^

If you have it laying around in your fire place, then please opt for wood ash in stead. They have been acclimated to woodash since 10+ generations.

Thank you for testing them :)
