With my last set of plants I found they did not fill all the air pot and they were in a 10L, I was expecting a vast array of roots but there it only the top, iv moved down to a 6L to try them.
Damn, I've had the exact opposite experience. If you check my automazar grow I even managed to get the roots out of the 10L airpots, into a 15L rez (bubbling water) that filled up to the top. I suspect if they had more room they would just go for it...

Yeah I assume the amount of room ha something to do with it.
So i have put another AWW bean into soak for my usual 48hrs then she will be going in a 7l Reg pot that way i will see what i can get in a 20l and also in a 7l both will be taken at the same age hopefully

My thing with more plants(smaller pots) is that they just overtake the space(those DWC girls spread out) must be all of those late nite drive thru stops!!!! It happened to me with the BAM/TD grow, BAM literally out grew the TD"pushed her into a corner and took away all her light. My TD gave up about 58 g compared to the BAM at over 300. ^Got my eyes on this one, love watching comparisons and seeing what diferences can be made, reminds me of that Nat Geo show where they had arjan talking about how he put the same plant in all of the diferente soils to see which ones worked the best and what conditions worked etc...
This AWW grow's got me waiting with anticipation.

So this girl is on a feed of 1ml alg a mic, 1ml grow, and 1 ml heaven to 1L of water. The next feed i will bump it up
The light is now at 24" and she is in the centre of the ms0006 with a TD squeezed into the corner lol
