New Grower Auto White Widow - 200w CFL, Soil, Stealth Dresser - 1st Grow!

Dude!! Awesome first grow bro.!!!
Those are some very good looking buds.
:kusht:

So I was planning on harvesting this thursday-ish.. but... This past week the buds have really packed on weight. They look all swollen and engorged compared to how they've been all grow. So I think I'll wait another week, and see how it looks at that point.

Here's a couple pics, sorry for the bad quality, the lights were off. I had to change to 20/4 due to heat. Its sunny here and got up to 89F one day in my box. It's stayed below 78F since I changed the lighting schedule. I'll get some new pics in a couple days with the lights on.

I'm pretty thrilled with my results so far. I was hoping to get a half zip from my first time, but I think I'll do better than that.

Ofcourse it doesn't compare to the HPS grows, but I counted 34 colas 4-5 inches each yesterday.

That,s one hell of a grow pal, you giving me hope, wish i could have seen it from start to finish, cant wait to see the next, what ever your doing don't stop,

Im confident you have over a zip my friend...Damn fine job man.!:slap: Doubling up on that max rep for yuh!:vibes:

Well I went to check on the plant today and see if there has been any progress, and I took a couple shots trying to get macros on some of the buds:

But I noticed one of them was real brown near the top, so I touched it, and it felt crispy. I didn't know what to do so I chopped it off:

I hope its okay, I've got it hanging and drying. Can you see the difference in color about halfway up? The soil has been semi-dry. I'm watering about a gallon every other day, but I've never grown a plant that is as thirsty as this one.

Edit: I've never trimmed a bud, I just tried to get all the leaves off. How does it look?

Hi Tim, It looks like bud rot to me. The rest of your plant looks fantastic. I'd examine the rest of the plant carefully and cut out any rot you find. If it's too soon to chop it cut away a lot of the fan leaves and get a fan on it. Nice work!:slap:

BTW Trim job looks great!
