first time ive ever had purchased seeds fail to germ. gc is sending me some gg4 autos as a replacement at least...going with another breeder most likely after this, unless the gg4 blows me away. doubtful .

first time ive ever had purchased seeds fail to germ. gc is sending me some gg4 autos as a replacement at least...going with another breeder most likely after this, unless the gg4 blows me away. doubtful .

I recommend getting hydrogen peroxide 3% at the local pharmacy or dollar store and mixing 1 part water to 10 parts hydrogen peroxide. Get good quality paper towels and submerge them in water... with clean hands or better yet gloves squeeze out the majority of the water so it is wet but not dripping (when you lightly squeeze no water will come out, but not too dry). Wipe a container your using to germinate in down with 99% isopropanol alcohol. Unfold your paper and fold it into a square... put your seeds in the middle and fold over. Place your container on top of the pantry above your fridge. Once a day open the lid and lift the paper towel up to allow the seeds to air out and get fresh o2 for about 20 seconds. Within 24-72 hours all of your seeds will germ. I’ve never lost a seed with this method.

It helps prevent “damping off” & other pathogens taking hold and ruining your seeds.
Also PH the water after you add the peroxide

Popping mine today. I have to harvest a plant one handed today and set up dwc one handed (will be fun trying that with one hand :/ but heck it needs to get done. I'll throw the germ pics up tonight.
