Thanks much for the quick reply. I'm guessing because it's 2 strains that they may not start flower at the same time. I guess since you said it's pretty obvious that I'll notice when they slow down, I won't worry about checking for pistols as much. I do want to get a good clear pic just for myself tho. Like everyone says, the pics just don't do them justice.... The pics are fine but it's hard to tell how the AK are trying to break out from my bondage, I mean training.
You certainly get more bud sites the longer they're in veg and you'll know exactly when stretch stops for each plant as they'll stop throwing new leaves out the tops. It's very obvious when it happens. As far as how long they'll veg, that's anyone's guess. I have 3 of the same strain going. 1 is about 2.5 weeks into flower, 1 is just under 2 weeks, 1 just started. All between 37-39 days old.
Calmag was probably a good idea. From what I've seen it's pretty hard to over do it and preventive maintenance is always a good thing. I should've used some early on, people said I shouldn't need it, I did. lol
