Seeds Planted 1/23/17
Seeds: ILGM, 2 each of Northern Lights and AK-47 autos.
Placed in water on 1/23/17 and all 4 sprouted!
Light : Top Shelf 600w LED (380 from wall) and LED glasses
Grow area: Closet is 20”x48” and 91” height (every in counts!)
Soil: FoxxFarm Ocean (mostly)
Nutrients: FoxxFarm 3 pack (BB, GB and TB)
Water: All spring water and distilled
Walls and ceiling: Mylar
Pots: 5 gallon fabric filled to about 3.5 gallon (1 bag per plant).
Air movement: small fan I move around inside and out of closet.

Temps have been around 75-78 during day and 65-70 night. I mist with water and a few drops of FF BB. Misting walls with plain water along with the humidifier keep it around 46% rh. Rh was going up and down the 1st 2 weeks but it seems to hang 45-50 now.
I'm doing scrog mainly as a test for future photo strains. I lst'd 3 of them (1 of the AK's had been very open inside) and after a month they at hitting screen.

Plants are starting to stretch I think. The last 3 days I can see a size difference in the morning. I know I made the net far too low, it's my 1st try. As long as I learn to grow better quality and yield as I grow, I'll be happy. The second is a spot I cleared out in the greenhouse, I have some plans to start seeds in it soon (in a month).

This is exciting to see as I've got AK47's from ILGM coming in the mail.

Yours are looking good man! I'm about as far as can be from an expert but from what I've read/seen, this early on the stems should be juicy/spongy with decent elasticity... and as long as you don't hear snapping, they're probably fine with tension and the scrog and LST you're doing. Just my 1.5 cents.

Keep it real! :peace:

Are your seeds autos? I'm noticing the branches are growing fast and are very flexible, it's just that main stem. I guess I am happy with the results so far (mainly because I now see much growth each morning). I've seen many journals that looked fantastic but yielded 2 oz or the little one would wind up being the best quality and yield. I'm gonna play and hope for the best. Plz tag me if you start a thread

Lookin' good @Ketal ! You're off to much better start than I had.

Those side branches should go crazy over the next couple weeks. Auto's are new experience for sure. I'm amazed at how fast these girls can grow.

Yup, auto as well. Seems like the more I learn about and see Autos the more they amaze me. High quality bud, fast and relatively easy. Hope my seeds get here soon! Will def tag ya when I start mine and I'm subbed to your thread.

Keep the feeding hand strong!

I enjoy fighting with stems to get under the net. I notice a few new pops above the net each morning, I'm not sure how long until the start to flower (and slow down growth). Does it make sense the longer it's in veg the more bud sites open? Seems like it to me. The AK-47 is growing much faster than the NL (bigger sativa thing?) but they are both really doing well. Today I started added cal-mag (1 teaspoon to 2 gallons) at a low dose. I don't see any kind of issue with the plants but I read so much about using the cal-mag I bought some. I also dropped the light down a notch the other day, I want to be right at 18"-19" when they flower (it's 21" from top now so no biggie).
I plan to start the next batch of the same strains in a week or so, I'd like to only have a month start under a cheaper veg light (small mars led maybe? I could veg 4 plants in a 2'x2' area easy). I also ordered my 4" fan w/speed cont and 4" carbon filter, also a solid door to mount it all on. I need to do a lot of work in a week in order to get the space closed in with the fan, shelf for veg, small shelf for humidifier, etc..
Any advice or comments welcome (plz, lol). I don't want any surprises!

You certainly get more bud sites the longer they're in veg and you'll know exactly when stretch stops for each plant as they'll stop throwing new leaves out the tops. It's very obvious when it happens. As far as how long they'll veg, that's anyone's guess. I have 3 of the same strain going. 1 is about 2.5 weeks into flower, 1 is just under 2 weeks, 1 just started. All between 37-39 days old.

Calmag was probably a good idea. From what I've seen it's pretty hard to over do it and preventive maintenance is always a good thing. I should've used some early on, people said I shouldn't need it, I did. lol

You're doing great man. I suspect only happy surprises in your future!
