3 seeds under 400 hps in soil, temperature and humidity in limits.
ph test - HAD a couple of them tablets so i could know the ratios aprox with the water and fertileiser that i use
sproutet between cotton make-up round things
30-35 hours to sprout
after one day 24 hours they poped
first week no nutrients water every 3 days
second week half strenght organic tomato nutrients
third week full portion from the organic tomato nutes (5ml/liter) 1-1.5 liter water for every pot at this time
fourth week until now the grow was fabulos did SOME lst since end week 3 (should have gone earlyer) bud sites everywhere
fifth week got the ideea to colect rain water from the roof for a watering in between feeding
things gone wrong here plants started to yellow. loosing 3-4 leaves a day for almoast a week.
i thought it was a pest problem brought from outside with the rain water after lots of reading so i turned one upside up when the pot was dry to take a look at the roots. roots were rich, white and fine. the smell was also normal. after checking these things i decided quick to fall back for the moment with cactus nutrients (fifth week i started half cactus nutrients half tomato) and gone back to all organic tomato. after 5 days stunning 2 of the three started to recover and started filling the buds.
week 6 the 2 are still growing and taking weight apparently they still need lots of nitrogen otherwise they become light green and after yellow very quickly 1-2 days. so i go 3 ml organic tomato nutes and 5 ml (normal portion) cactus nutes. the other one, the weaker of the 3 lost A LOT of leaves, it's also the one with the light nute burn in week 3. but besides that she just won't stay out of trouble. one leaf shows iron problem other time shows magnesium.
at the present moment 2 with moast lst done to them they do good the third is okish don't know for how long.
did 2 types of lst
for one plant i tried to put all the buds in front of the main cola and bend the main cola away from the smaller ones
for the other one i just spread the side colas as far sideways as i can from the main cola - This was the better tehnic it appears.
for the third i've pulled just lightly some brances who where making too much shadow for the lower brances. She stressed out anyway got all purple on the brances so i've cut the ropes and just let it be.
if i would do it again i would use bigger pots or the same 11 liter pots but almoast full with earth. mine are 3 way full almoast (don't know why i forgot to pay attencion to this at the moment done) at week 5 when i took a peak at the roots they were all ready till the bottom of the pot
i would use the organic tomato nutrient again and go hard with it from the start but only with the plants that look healty.
i would quit the expensive ph tablets who show you collors for ph rating and go for a more precise ph pen or something.
i would go for another blooming nutrient not cactus, i would try an organic one maybe.
the odour is not so strong you can feel it just in the room where the tent is. the tent stays semi-opened. no need to put the carbon filter at the moment and because i live at the last flour of a multi store home i get away with letting the window open. However i would recomend a filter normaly if the smell going up the window can be a problem.
at week 6 tried a nug fast dry it (hair drier on medium ) for 5-10 min and then let it on a paper towel for the night. next day had a mellon smell, pretty smooth the smoke considering was still a little wet and the drying methods. i was suprised but the potence, coffe shop quality no doubt. and i can say it really is a special high. takes me back 10 years to when we smoked and stay all night doing something. not just baked on the couch. i tought it's me getting older but could also be the weed getting more and more indica'ish.
I would grow this strain again because of the "magical high" everybody praises about Jack Herer but also something else with a better yelder maybe.
and this is my first grow experience until now. think i gonna post again near harvest in 2-3 weeks time.
Much love to everybody hier.
