Hey there, hope everyone is doin well. I'm getting my first grow set up (4x4 tent w/ mars hydro fce4800) and i think I've decided that I want to go ahead and get either an Autopot or Octcopot 4 pot system. Anyone have experience growing autoflowers in these? Any advice or personal experice is appreciated!

I figure that simplifying the watering process will allow me to focus more on other parts of the grow. And, by doing regular checks of the reservoirs I can get a more precise idea of each plant's needs at each stage of growth. Thanks in advance yall!

I have the autopots and am moving to RDWC. I liked using them as they did make life starting out a lot easier. I would recommend not doing soil and would stick with coco, as soil is a pain in the autopots. The real bonus is being able to leave for several days without having to water. My personal gripes with the autopots is the cheap, thin plastic it is made out of.

@SpiderMonkey Yeah, the more research I did I realized that while they say they work with soil, it would be difficult. I was already planning to run Natures Living Soil mixed with Ocean Forest so looks like the pots are a no go for this run. I did see that AC Infinitt has some inexpensive self watering stands for fabric pots that basically uses the same principle. Only a one gallon res on them, but might still be worth it at $70 for 4.
