I swear this thing grew an inch over night- yesterday's temps hit 100+ here- and she's reaching for the sky. Her soak was one week ago today- she's only been in the dirt 4 days.

Her older sister, though...

is about half her size, and just turned 23 days old- 6 days to crack, 4 days to sprout, and 13 days to get to about 1.75". At this point, it's time to either fly or fall- it's the only survivor from a 3 pack of Auto-Purple and I'm thinkin' I'll not try that pheno again for awhile. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated- I hear this ain't normal.

The environment they're growing in isn't too bad, if I do say so-

and stepping into the Abbey...

OK, now here's the part only a few will appreciate- my bedroom is about 5' away and has a sliding door to the deck so when it gets hot, it's open and the scent of citrus, berries, eucalyptus, pine and pepper fill the room. It's hard to sleep with that- it smells too good.

A weeks passed since the girls said hi, so they posed for pics in the Abbey. This was a few days ago with the morning sun pulling the lil' girl out of the ground.

One of the things I love about cannabis plants is how photosensitive they are- watching the heads track the sun across the sky and collapse at dusk...

The OG Kush is now 8 days in the dirt, and aside from the nibblings of the usual bugs- she's doing ok. A batch of lady-bugs will help out if things get out of hand, but for now things are good.

Even the auto-purple is picking up the pace after a 30 days of slacking- she may make it as she's tripled in size in the last week (that ain't sayin' much).

The white flecks in some of the pics are ash from a fire 90-odd miles north- the sky's been kinda murky, and the ash-cloud is dumping in the east-bay hills.

Another week's passed, and the cloister fills with terps; The citrus tang of OG permeates the air between breezes, and neighbors are starting to take notice. The ladies are growing with vigor, and topping is on the horizon- they've hit 4' and the Abbey needs it's roof raised.

The autos are coming along- the real surprise is the auto-purple I wrote off. She seems to be settled in at roughly 6 weeks...

The OG Kush is powering up, 12 & 14 days out of the shell

The Mephisto Deep Blue C F2 failed to launch- spit out a tongue and said "nope" and died- but the C4 cracked in about 28 hours soaked, then when wet-toweled, extruded a spike and screamed "STICK ME IN DIRT NOW".

So I did. This is 18 hours later.

That was 2 days ago... This is this morning.

This should be a fun one to watch. She'll get bigger diggs in a day or so- I'd hate to impede her potential.
