Hi All-
Genuine newb to auto's- been a cannaphile for decades- and recent events here in California have made it easier to grow outdoors legally, so I jumped in with a "deck grow" of sorts. Bought a lid (yep- I'm old) of phenomenal Face-Off OG from a grower that had a hermie blow all over his girls and corrupt the crop- the tests still showed a 26% THCa level- so the yield went to market at a severe discount. The originals were fem seeds, and it looks like the seeds from them are too (12 seeds popped, 12 girls showed)- had no idea that was a thing, but I'm not complaining and have about 150 seeds for future use.
And it kicks ass.
Started my grow in early April- 4/10- and they'll be the older sister's in the cloister of nuns housed in the convent.
I'm up in the Bay Area hills and we have a bit of an insect problem, so a greenhouse was constructed from PVC tubes & mosquito netting to keep the bigger stuff from gnawing at the nun's tender bits- moths are rampant here.
That lil' thang in the air-pot should be OG kush in a dozen weeks- she's only 5 days old and cracked her shell kicking and screaming 3 days ago. She should be happy enough with the Fox Farm Ocean Mist and their nutes liberally applied- the rest of the cloister seems to be doing well with the happy-juice applications.
I'll keep posting as the weeks pass, and hopefully somebody'll say hi back in the process.
