Not sure about reliable low odour though..i have heard of some frisian duck growers that report strong scent.



MY duck has a unique smell but not super strong...most of flower you had to ram a bud up your nose to get a smell, and the smell was an almost lime like odour. It was present but subtle. After a 1 months cure it strengthened in the jar a big...after 6 months it has a lime like odour still but also has a fresh forest type of smell that i have heard described as a scent on the original ducksfoot. Interesting.

I initially got a racey high from the FD, but after a nice cure it went away and now its a very nice smooth sativa high...nice.

Yum lime. How does the odour when its smoked smell? I like strong racy highs and sativa highs. But maybe that's the ducks way of quacking. I'm still in preflower and so I expect its going to be taking its time to get done, but I'm ok with that. This plant just looks cool all around. Can't wait to have a smoke report on afn. I wanna have a first so I'm trying my best to document it and I hope there's a lot of people who are getting some good info on the duck

Typical weed stink when smoked(similar to jarred bud)...once she hit the jars for a few months odour picked up in strength quite a bit. I also did a DP AWW this winter and she was fairly low odour as well, though i made errors and she was a tiny, tiny plant(smalest plant i have even taken to flower). A nice odour though which is a flowery perfume, very similar to the WW i started growing over 20 years ago.

Definitely a keeper then, thanks for the info. The smell after its grown isn't a big deal because its easy to just make edibles or just light up when you're not around people.
I definitely am the queen of small plants, I can make a big strain as small as my hand.
There's a lot you can learn from screwing up a lot. And the biggest of them is how not to mess up again

Exactly right...learn from your errors, avoid previous errors you have made, and errors will become less and less critical, and in turn plants get better and better.

I personally have taken a year to even get to this point and I have a lot of ways to go, this is probably going to be my most successful grow to date, its getting more and more aide colas growing up through the under canopy and it looks like I'm going to get a good yield. I'm very pleased with myself this time around

I think you will be fine.. All my autos seem to do this.

Days 1-20 they're pretty small... Day 21 - end of stretch they start to take off.

How high are your lights? she will take off soon trust me.

Hell I only grow with a mars 300 and a 180 watt ufo.

My friend uses a mars 600 and has some monster photo plants.


heres some work I can do with a single mars 300... The plant in flowering is a speed seeds NYC Diesel auto.. she is done stretching and is exactly 2 feet tall.

I wish i could show you guys my first 2 years plants...bloody embarrassing they were!! It takes time to learn the plants, their needs and also the develop the intuition to read them.

Day 43, one of the aide colas is growing out to be a very nice cola and I bet it will yield more than a quarter ounce just on that cola alone.

UNless i am mistaken, you are going to have top to bottom solid bud on that plant!! If i might make a suggestion...use plastic coated wire and gently pull down the lower satellite branches, assuming you have enough room. This will give much greater bud on the lower branches. Here is a DP auto night queen that was very similar in structure to your autoduck. Notice how the lower branches are splayed out to open up the lower branches.
