So I had this idea how to make my own auto seeds. This was before I remembered about reversing fems, but I might try it more natural anyway. So I've found plenty of great looking autos but there mostly fems. I found some short stuff seeds in regular. So I was thinking of breeding a short stuff male with some nice autofems.
Anyway my question is do I have much of a chance of getting herms since I'm using fem mother's? And since the short stuff seeds are really dwarfy looking autos would I have better luck breeding the F1 seeds to another bigger auto to increase size and quality in F2? And would a second breeding with feminised plants give me more Hermie chances?
As I type this I know reversing a nice auto sounds simpler, but I kinda like the idea of getting lots of phenotypes so I always have something different to smoke. Anyway what are your thoughts?

Alright so after thinking about it today im just going to try both. I'll try and reverse a female self it and polinate another fem. I'll also try letting nature do its thing with the regs. Guess I should document it and share, maybe grow the seeds side by side for comparison.
Breeds I'm probably going to choose from are short stuff mix regs, the DP high potency mix ( auto ultimate, think different, cinderella jack) and Herbie's freebie autos (sweet big devil xxl, barneys blue cheese)

I had a hard time finding high quality regs so i made some just like u intend. Id say get a handful of strains that u are interested in and start crossing and cracking beans.i try to keep it down to 1 pollen donor w multiple ladies/clones per breeding area but theres no wrong way to do it if it works for ya.ill have to warn u that breeding is far more addictive than growing.....i have tons of auto regs after several years of pollen chucking and im still searching for the kinda bean that gets me as excited as the first one i made, like a crackhead on a binge lol

Lol yeah I'm getting the feeling this could be addicting. I'm already drooling over about four dozen strains I want to try. At this rate I'd never end up growing my own beans.
Is there a word for having strain munchies?

I used a kvs male x gg4 to get the regs dna and made these Silverback twins

Kush van stitch auto regs. I must say that it was the best i could find at the time but i bred with the glue leaning phenos from the f1 and made dozens of crosses w my reg lines since that are absolutely fire!

Kalashnikov is the shit, id rather breed with their gear than any of the other breeders you listed. You should read into the strains you want to grow before you commit to a long term project that yeilds you a bunch of mids.

Nate was lucky enough to work with a stable auto strain from a less than stable breeder and there is fire to be found but some of these breeders catologs are mine fields... The short stuff and flash gear i have used has all been wrong in some way and i have wasted a few cycles growing duds. I understand they have gear that works but its hit or miss. I hear those big yielding dp strains taste like garbage too, but i havent cared enough to try growing their gear yet so what do i know.

I have to agree w kaya that its a crap shoot finding High grade regs. I personally do a ton of reasearch into a strain before i decide its a must have. only thing i found that i would consider proven quality other than my own are mandalorian's alf#5. I cant openly offer anything per forum rules but Ive currently have some Apefruit 2.0 and Glamberry regs that are supposed to be ran out and tested in a commercial garden. then if all goes as planned they will be marketed online and in some dispenseries with more to follow. Im adding royal queens solomatic cbd, mephistos creme de la chem and double grape, fastbuds zkittles, lemon ak and cream cookies to be crossed into my genetic gene pool. All proven winners!
