Pretty sure these are balls, which for a lady like me I would usually love trapped in a tent, tied up in a trellis net, however not on my first ever plants :(

I found a bunch of these things that I think are balls on one stem and a single one on another. Need advice pretty quick as this is our first grow and we don't know what to do!!

Pull them off quickly coz they look fit to burst @MarySue420 ...:headbang:....you don't want your bud full of seed.

Unlucky for your first grow..but...you picked it up..so Well Done....:bravo:

What cross...?

Should I get them out of the tent? I have 20 in there and only 2 seem to have balls.

Judgement call...:headbang:....depends on how good you are at spotting them.
Sometimes you will get repeat balls after you remove them...sometimes you don't...

Better to kill 2 than contaminate 18 ..?..:pass:..

Having the hermie will Probably Not effect the quality of bud on the plant in any way...but...it could seed your grow..and if clean bud is the priority.....

So after inspecting, there are quite a few on various plants.. God damn!!! We are all super sad. I am just gonna have to keep plucking them off. What are the odds of producing mostly seedless buds after a few are growing sacks? :(

Wow @MarySue420 ..that is bad luck.....which cross is it...I'll see if anyone else is hitting problems.

You are Probably going to be okay....:headbang:..the ones you showed looked just off ripe...but a little pollen can go a Long way...

For Safety..remove them as soon as you see them form.

It is a Northern lights strain, all of them are the same, planted from seed. I found some that were bunched together like wheat and were green and much bigger than the ones above, which seemed dead, were white and brittle to touch, like a dried out seed. Praying we didn't all invest in all the equipment and seeds, nutes and running costs to end up with dirt weed haha x

Oh..coincidence...a Northern Lights was the only hermie I've seen for quite a lot of years.

Mine turned up in the middle of a bud...so you will need to have your eyes open...:headbang:..keep checking the bud too.

My NL were from one of the Best/recommended breeders..so maybe an inherent fault.

How far are you off harvest..?

@Mossy if they all hermie and have seeds, could we dry and trim it, then put it in freezer and make hash with it? Been watchign some hash making videos and if worst comes to absolute worst, we could just make some nice hash maybe?

edit

just saw your post hun,I am on day 41 from seed. Not sure how long from harvest, about 1 and 3/4 months I would say based on the numbers ive heard for the strain. yeah there seem to be quite a few NL videos and threads of people having a similar issue. Yep will be in ball plucking mode 24/7 from now on, operation gonad cmasher is a go.

@MarySue420 ...wait a couple of weeks..keep checking the calyx's..gentle squeeze will let you feel if there is a seed developing.

If you are seeded...tag me back in and I'll find you the best Hash maker from staff to come help out...:headbang:

Fingers Crossed for them...and Well Done for spotting it....:bravo:...bad way to Learn..but you'll recognise them now...
