Are these gems on track?

I agree. I've also had the same issue and at around day 30 it was roughly 4 inches tall on it's 3 rd set and it went into bloom. Shot a few hairs at the top and when it was all said and done she was 7 inches tall and yielded 2 grams. I guess it would depend on the strain and genetics. Like I said if it was me I would start some new seeds and that it was my 2 cents. You never know what could happen. Like your saying happened for
You wasn't the case for me. Was just giving my opinion on the situation and from my experience. No harm meant at all.

I hope my comment didn't come across the wrong way Captain  Your point of view is entirely valid and I value your experience regardless of my own. It certainly seems that the way these plants respond to stress can be totally varied, and i guess Moe will be taking a chance with regard to allowing them to continue. I'd certainly start a few new beans anyways if you have the space to accommodate them

i've had auto's that stayed dormant in a state of 'suspended animation' till
day 27 due to excess moisture retention in the soil - they were no taller than 3
inches and only on there third node at the time!.. However once i transplanted
them into a peat based mix they took off and finished as normal yielding a
little under an ounce dry weight about 60 days later

I was gonna say the same as Trifid..they aren't Stumpies..they are Dormant...
suspended animation..

IF you amend the bad conditions there is every chance they will resume Normal growth...and just spring back to Life.

Looking at your soil..it actually just looks like water-logged compo to me..so IF IT IS..
I would recommend that instead of Transplanting...cut the bottom off the bottle and use FD's Tiered pot method...putting a larger pot on the bottom..
filled with plain potting compo..

your soil looks far to wet...
how often are you watering them?

Hey Moe.. I'd agree with MrNiceSmoke on this one - Your medium looks like it's retaining too much moisture which will lead to the suffocation of your plants. It appears to have a lot of clay in it. Since they are still relatively young seedlings, you have time to re-transplant. If you work carefully you may to able to do this with out harming their root structure in any way - but be sure to get all the medium out and replace it with a fibrous medium perhaps peat/coco based such that drainage is optimal. The medium should always be allowed to dry out following a thorough watering, usually within 18-24 hrs.

This miracle grow seed starter is supposed have be mostly peat and tree recyclings

Ok I will try that I think I'm going to bite the bullet and order some pro mix bx online and see if that will help. Where I am you cant buy anything gardening wise past 2nd week of august they start taking it off the shelves. No place within 200 miles has promix anything , and I'm 100 miles away from a place that has some of the foxfarms soil mix

Thanks for the input.

well if that's the first watering they got in 5 days (no need to water them so much next time, you want it to suck up the water, not look like a swamp :~) .... i would think it must be something else..

buy some soil dude, i was using some random soil with the wrong PH.. and getting no where..

the brand of soil does not matter, just make sure it says PH 6 or 6.5 If it says PH 7, i would not get it.

2 weeks old - stunted/suspended anim
