your soil looks far to wet...
how often are you watering them?

---------- Post added 11-29-2011 at 11:59 AM ----------

also what lights are they under, whats the ph of the water you give them, and what soil are they in?

holy crap!!!! that soil is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY soaked beyond normal feeding even. your stunting them with overwatering for sure.

did you use top soil?i tried to use it long time ago and that's what it ended up looking like.mud!i would change the soil to potting soil sence they're still young.

if it's not top soil then you diff. need some drain holes.Tshirt's rite, your going to stunt them with all that water if not kill them.

Hey Moe.. I'd agree with MrNiceSmoke on this one - Your medium looks like it's retaining too much moisture which will lead to the suffocation of your plants. It appears to have a lot of clay in it. Since they are still relatively young seedlings, you have time to re-transplant. If you work carefully you may to able to do this with out harming their root structure in any way - but be sure to get all the medium out and replace it with a fibrous medium perhaps peat/coco based such that drainage is optimal. The medium should always be allowed to dry out following a thorough watering, usually within 18-24 hrs.

If i was you, to try and save them i would go and get some premium soil (NOT mircial Grow) from your garden center mix it up with a good amount of perlite, and CAREFULLY try and trasnplant them into containers with good drainage. If you leave them in those pots they are going to die soon.

I really don't know if they're worth saving. They're 20 days old there going to start flowering in the next week. 2 tops. At 20 days they should be 5 x the size. If I was in your shoes I would drop new seeds if you have them. They are severely stunted. If they were a photo strain you could possibly save them but with an auto your veg time is basically up. Dont take it the wrong way bro alot of us ave been there. Best case scenario is you get a gram or two tops worst they die. If you start fresh you can correct the mistakes and have some nice plants. God luck my man. Just my :2cents:

if containers are clear you should cover with tape or something---roots dont need light on them

Captin Cure - I value your opinion here but i've had auto's that stayed dormant in a state of 'suspended animation' till day 27 due to excess moisture retention in the soil - they were no taller than 3 inches and only on there third node at the time!.. However once i transplanted them into a peat based mix they took off and finished as normal yielding a little under an ounce dry weight about 60 days later - that's about 2 wks later than stated by the breeder. Not sure if this applies to gems but i was under the impression that autos judge their finishing times based upon their development regardless of time..
