Usually I don't post pics, kinda paranoid (maybe I smoke too much sativa?). Anyway, thought this would be a nice addition to show you guys how these autos perform outdoors under extreme conditions.
I planted this one in early July, late in the season for up here (65+ degrees north), and chopped it in early September. It would have been better to keep it out in the woods for another 2-3 weeks however weather was getting worse and I had to travel. Nevertheless it produced a small yield of sticky buds that me and a friend enjoyed over a game of chess.

Purple Jems, if you guys didn't recognize the strain. If it would have been planted in early june, results would've been much greater.

Did you amend the soil or was it right in the ground?

Yes I did. Usually you have to do that unless you're growing in farmland. This was grown out in the pine woods. No fancy soil however, average potting soil. We don't have grow shops specialized in cannabis growing gear up where I live, so you have to go with whatever you can find. Still, good results are possible. This one was planted late because I was travelling and couldn't get the grow going in time. If you pre-veg indoors for 2-3 weeks then transplant them outdoors results are much much better. I'm planning some different methods for next season. Maybe some of the results will be presented at this forum...

wow, those flowers are amazingly purple. that is redicously beautiful.

GORGEOUS, glocal!!! You're WAY up there, huh? :smokebuds:

Turned out to be a very beautiful plant glocal! I bet you really enjoyed that chess game! :smoke:

Now I know why Rudolf's nose glows so bright- He's always nibbling on purple buds, eh?

Hehe, honeslty that was the best chess game I've ever had! Another smack in the face for all those who claim cannabis messes up cognitive functioning!

beautiful purple, deffo having a think now about getting some.

Beautiful, nice for leaving late in the season.

Have a good one this year!
