I use cobs. Same ones that are in those. There are some guys running them on the test thread. I have no problem saying they beat out the 5 watt diodes. I now have a Mars 2 1200 sitting in the closet for backup because the cobs work better and the plants respond to it.

Yes it is 500.00 light but the one I built is more efficient puts out more light less heat and my coverage is better. With the cobs especially singles you can adjust where all your light goes. Especially is you are using it to supplement. BIGSMO has a grow going an if you check out DIY there are a ton of con setups to the K out. The single is just a condensed version that sounds perfect for upgrading a little at a time.

You could put it in a paper bag and hang it in the top of your tent. I've had to do that if I have extremely stinky buds drying or if I know people will be stopping by.
