I am pretty sure we all have been there at some point of our lifes. Me included. I have been through some totally horrible stuff in my life that would devastate some people and I bet it kind of did that to me too in the end. But... without it I would not have learned some of the valuable lessons what all that misery did give to me and shape me to be who I am today. I bet with a right outlook to life you can really shine through all the nasty stuff life throws at you.

Right now we are at Polar Night and it means that I wake up around 11am only to see that sun at a brightness it would be already setting. It is super dark and I can see it always affects peoples moods too.
