To be honest it all depends on the breeding program and genetics you work with. Genetics are tricky, sometimes it takes more generations and sometimes less, you can't predict that until you test the results. I cannot share exact information about our breeding program due to confidentiality issues, but what I can mention, some of the strains have been developed using up to 5 generations. From what I've learned throughout the years, if you don't get the satisfying results within the first few crosses, the gene pool might be too weak to find something interesting there and continue further generations. The amount of F's depends also on the level of sophistication of the hybrid you work with.

And our feminized strains would be: Power Kush (Critical x Og Kush) - Critical parentage provides the plant structure and resin production. OG phenotype that we selected for this cross is a typical Kush representative, bulky buds with great trichomes. It proved great production values and it requires a little knowledge and skills to maintain them.

Something more classic I can recommend would be Green AK XL Feminized (Afghan x Colombian x Mexican x Thai), this classic genetics is well know all around the globe for its characteristic smell and worthy production values for commercial growers. It provides above average production and is easy to maintain throughout the growth cycle.
