I grew outside for 25 years in the same area when I first started I could get crop in with out a single problem. But I had to quit Our weather went wonky in the fall and slugs and snails seem to get more and more predominant Every year I was battling MOLD we would have huge rain which so many years ago we did not get weather like that. Even around here I here of crops failing outdoors and I am on the eastern end of Canada. Ontario
maybe climate change is real

Wow I am a little surprised to hear you say this! Yes I have had some struggles with mold, but overall its minimal. Being close to the "big" lakes we definitely get hammer down rainstorms....gallons of water in an hour. My biggest challenge isn't mold, but more of an issue with branches breaking like twigs, once they absorb a few tons of water in the bud after a heavy rainstorm.

OH same here..i am limited by Oct the 15th at the latest, and plants not done before oct the 1st will certainly meet jack frost. I had a plant not finished last ear and I abandoned it as I was too busy with others. I ended up cutting it down on Nov 1st(latest harvestever),after she got through 3 snowstorms, one storm had snow on her buds for 3 days. I thought "meh, whatever hopefully there will be some hash making bud?" Turns out she was a fantastic smoke and suffered very little mold.
