Poor old @epenguin seems to be the scapegoat for about all infectious outbreaks in this part, perhaps it is time for a full disinfectant dump for all friendly faces in the staff room :backside:

I Hose them down weekely with Jeyes fluid...:tonic:..but it doesn't seem to do much...

Perhaps this could be something with a bit more effective (safe for animals so should be good for tigers, penguins etc) lool

A powerful quaternary based cleaner, disinfectant and deodoriser. It effectively destroys a broad spectrum of bacteria, fungi and viruses at source. It kills odours and leaves a fresh fragrance. Safe to use on all water washable surfaces, floors, walls, cages, feeding bowls, bedding, toys, runs, yards, carpets, toilets and drains.

Ideal for usage in Kennels and catteries. Effective against H1N1 Swine-flu, Newcastle disease, TB, Avian Inflenza Virus and foot & mouth. Controls MRSA in laundry. Also highly effective against Weil's Disease.

  • Contains an effective broad spectrum disinfectant which is approved to EN1040, EN 1276, EN13697, EN1650, EN1275 EN 14476:2005.
  • Contains a broad spectrum disinfectant approved to EN1656, EN1657 for use in veterinary environments.

Directions for use:
Odourfresh can be used to clean and disinfect all surfaces which come into contact with animals. Application will be dependent on the desired effect of the product and the product should be pre-diluted using the information below before use.

Remove animals before cleaning. Apply by mopping, spraying or wiping onto surfaces. Allow product to remain in contact with surfaces for at least the recommended contact times. Rinsing is optional for most surfaces. Rinse feeding bowls and equipment thoroughly after application. Keep animals away from treated area until completely dry.

If spraying onto or using on fabrics, coloured or sensitive surfaces, pre-test a small inconspicuous area for color-fastness and compatibility. For use in laundry add 50ml per 10Kg of washing. Add to the pre-soak or final rinse cycle. Refer to your machine manufacturer’s instructions.

Deodorising : Dilute with up to 99 parts water (roughly 10ml Odourfresh per Litre) - Contact time 2 minutes.

Bactericidal Use : Dilute with 4 parts water (roughly 200ml Odourfresh per Litre) - Contact time 10 minutes.

Virucidal Use : Use neat, or dilute 50:50 with water - Contact time 10 minutes.

This product will not harm septic tanks.

Odourfresh products may be harmful if ingested by young animals. When cleaning areas with this product please ensure that animals are removed from the area until cleaning is complete and surfaces are dry.

:pass: Worth a Try @Spanglish ..worth a try..:headbang:..I've told the Penguin..if he brings in any Bird Flu he is in Trouble..we don't need the Staffroom quarantined in the run up to the Christmas Party..we'd be stuck with all that swag and seed prizes..hmm..hmm..hmm...Wait a Minute.....:eyebrows:
 
Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, maybe this could be the solution for your all, keeps all feathered friends out the stash leaving more for the rest, but am sure the festivities won't be the same without our feathered friend countells un pc jokes and feathery cuddles.
