@Muddy this is a blues man id love to share with you.. I worked for Mr t bone pruitt when was younger in his record store... i still see him but not very often...
this was B,B kings best friend... watch how he plays that Gibson... :headbang: these guys are almost gone!!! :pass:

Thanks man, I really enjoyed that. He's not someone I had heard before. That's the way it's always been, good blues men wondering the country that are unknown beyond their region. I bet you've got some good memories from that time.

I was fortunate that when I lived up North I had a great blues club close by. It was on the Boston to D.C. circuit so all the greats played there. I saw everyone from John Lee Hooker to the Nighthawks.

@Muddy Im sure you have herd about the great lightning Hopkins,.... I can tell ya muddy he still alive in living in Texas but he is not well ..I hope he can make it just one more year and to hear lightnin play again well be a miracle.. sad man.. I'm glad your back!! :headbang:

Lightnin was one of those I knew about for a long time but hadn't gotten around to listening to yet. I was going out with a woman who had this LP collection of pop and show tunes. I'm looking through them and I find this Lightnin Hopkins LP. She had no idea where it came from and gave it to me. I still have it today, along with a few more. Such a unique style that influenced some of the greats like Johnny Winter and Billy Gibbons. Texas style.
