Rice Miller, Sonny Boy Williamson II, not to be confused with the original Sonny Boy who was also a harmonica player. He came to prominence on the 'King Biscuit Flour Hour' out of Memphis in the 40s, where the young B.B. King was a disc jockey. In the early 60s Sonny was one of the first bluesmen to tour England in response to the British blues resurgence. Side are available from 1964 with him being backed by the Animals and the Yardbirds, with 18 year old Eric Clapton on guitar. The base line to the classic Booker T and the MGs 'Green Onions' was lifted from Sonny Boys 'Help Me'.
