Happy hump day stoners

The CIA had an opening for an assassin. After all the background checks, interviews and testing were done, there were three finalists: two men and a woman.

For the final test, the CIA agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun.

"We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Kill her."

The man said "You can't be serious. I could never shoot my wife".

The agent said, "Then you are not the right man for this job. Take your wife and go home".

The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about five minutes. The man came out with tears in his eyes, "I tried, but I can't kill my wife."

The agent said, "You don't have what it takes, so take your wife and go home "

Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same instructions to kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard one after another. They heard screaming, crashing, and banging on the walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the woman, wiping sweat from her brow.

"The gun was loaded with blanks" she said. "I had to kill him with the chair."
They tell that joke in the army but it is a paratrooper, ranger, and a green beret.

Good to hear from you bear! I don't think hubby thinks too much about his prostate but he's over 50 so maybe I'll try to slip it into the conversation over the next couple of months. Wonder how that'll go down :crying:
Few men think about it or want to discuss it because of how doctors test for it but as we age our chances of cancer , kidney stones, interupted sleep ( getting up in the middle of the night to have a pee ) interfer with our quality of life . My dad passed away at 47 of prostate cancer so I've been a little more aware of the concequences but still ignored it up until now . Now I have no choice .

How is everyone this morning?
Hi AJ! I'm well thanks, what about you?

Few men think about it or want to discuss it because of how doctors test for it but as we age our chances of cancer , kidney stones, interupted sleep ( getting up in the middle of the night to have a pee ) interfer with our quality of life . I'll mention it to him. He gets up in the night for a pee anyway but given the quantity of beer he drinks I think it's that, not anything else. I'll start to mentally monitor that though, next time he has a beer-free evening. Thanks for the heads-up! I think Movember has gone a long way towards men being more aware of testicular cancer but the prostate is still not for consideration...
