:toke:  :welcome: Welcome @Queen City Hemp Thanks for coming aboard for a proper grilling!

:greencheck: ... I've been asked by some folks about salves, rubs, and the like,... and am wondering what the best base for them is as far as actual penetration into tissue goes,... my Doc' mentioned that Jojoba and Emu oil (?) are considered the best for this.. have you heard likewise, and what do you use in your salve? ---> have you had any feedback or experience with combining the oils savlves etc. with DMSO?
DMSO is a common one to use but I don't have experience in it. It depends if you are trying to penetrate into the blood stream or not and IIRC DMSO is used for that purpose. Jojoba is commonly used as a base as well, but is weirdly a wax not an oil. Not familiar with Emu oil so will have to take a look at that one.

Our topical uses hemp seed oil for the high amounts of linoleic acid and vitamin E. Both nourish and rejuvenate the skin and are great to use regardless of whether there is cannabinoids in there or not. The cannabinoids are along for the ride and have their own anti-inflammation properties which is why they are so useful for managing symptoms.

im a medical user now and what they have is a sunflower oil extract that you can take in your food and stuff but i havnt tried it not sure if its a similar product or not. they call it Bedrolite (i think) edit.
sunflower oil is similar to using MCT oil. Sunflower usually is consisted of Long Chain Triglycerides like Oleic Acid.

another stellar answer!

Indeed - I'd love to do that. Each one has it's own properties that can be useful depending on what you suffer from.

For instance, CBN will put you to sleep for you insomniacs out there. Just decarb some high THC cannabis for a really long time, it will convert from THC to CBN. Make some butter or a tincture and you have an all natural sleep aid. I have used capsules before and no joke - 11 hours of sleep. Man that was nice! Usually I'm lucky to get 6 hours.

@Queen City Hemp I'd Love ro take you up on that any time you have a bit spare time...Infinitely FAscinating.
Got our WP front page if y ou have done any articles too..:headbang:..we Need Educated.
