@MarshydroTina do you guys plan on any type of COB tech in the future? If so what are the plans and how do you plan on dealing with the heat?
yes, we have a plan on COB. CREE CXB3590 or Bridgelux vero series, we are testing, have not make decision yet. As to the heat, our engineer team will solve it, they do not tell me .

Is this with all your lights or does it change given the model. I assume that the ranges of distances per stage are so wide because of the different lights you offer
That just the model, you can according to your plants reaction to adjust the hanging distance. The watts of lou light is not same, so the hanging distance also have some difference, this recommendation only for reference.

I saw that you said you are going to have a COB what are you potentially looking at making? How many ships per unit things like that
Our engineer team is studying on it, when the products come out, they will not let us know the details. I only know a little.

I owuld recommend two Mars Pro II epistar 120, the coverage of this light is 2'x1.5', the two will be 3'x2', and this light can connected arbitrarily. This light is the scaled-down version of Mars Pro II epistar 160, it didn't use the lens, it won't have the lens problem.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll look into that now.

Maybe a little late but I've grown a couple under some Mars II 400w eq.. If I was a better grower at the times, I could've had some bigger yields, but the lights have worked great over the years!!!

I run cobs and I just keep my lights at 24 inches from the closest plant.. the smaller plants that are further away get plenty of light and catch up. Most led's they want 36 inches during veg personally I do not think that autos have a veg period they are automatically in flower mine usually show sex by day 16 to 20.. do you really think that any kind of light cycle will make them veg any different?

They do not respond to changes in light cycle. They move from a vegative state to flowering independently of light. "autoflower" just means the plant is photoperiod insensitive and categorized as day-neutral. Short day and long day plants shift the meristems from veg to flower mode based on length of night time. For a short-day plant like cannabis the longer the night, the more build up of light sensitive compounds (CO proteins) and trigger production of the hormone florigen, which induces flowering. In ruderalis strains the morphologic trigger mechanism is different. It has to do with the same proteins but the feedback loop is not caused by light, but some other aspect of circadian rythyms. Intersting is that this all happens inside the leaves, and the florigen is transported by phloem to the meristems.
