Have you tried a long low heat final purge,i am using a heat lamp dome with an incandescent buld to keep it around 115-120 F for about 16 hours,winter temps make the process take longer for me,cause in the summer i jist throw it under a pyrex done in the sunlight,and let nature take care of it for me

Yeah I only purged it at low heat for about an hour I guess it takes quite a while then?

Hey question to anybody who wants to answer..what size pots are you growing in and what's your final weights been like...i am running two gallon pots vs three gallon pots to see if i have a noticeable yield difference..i have pulled over 8oz per plant ( not continually tho) in two gallon fabric pots,just wondering people's thoughts on bigger pots??

Also, what your thoughts on taller pots? Not even larger capacity but just taller

let me ask you this,have you seen me mention the "tip" about adding about 6 drops of water to the pan before the alcohol is finished purging ,what this does is allow the temp to be taken higher to purge the alcohol more completely since water has a higher boiling temp than the alcohol??

Ive mostly done everything in two gallon till Geopot changed the bag dimensions,then i boight the three gallon and didnt like them as much...ive always heard that a taller pot is better that a shallower pot of the same capacity,had something to do with the taproot,i will say this,ive had more success in a 2gallon fabric pot than a five gallon plastic pot,the roots in the plastic pot start circling and dont "breath" as well( i guess)

I drilled a shitload of holes in the buckets I'm using now hoping for the air prune affect of the geo bags

Good call on that!! It does work and allows a more effective wet/dry cycle also allowing more oxygen to the roots..
