I had a Falcon dive bomb (and catch) a cardinal right in front of me last year. I was stupid amazed, the cardinals mate jumped on the falcons back to try and save its hubby, and they flew off to a tall cedar. Birds from all over the yard followed them up there and squawked like you never heard. I thought of it as a "council of birds" in my back yard. I immagined them saying to each other "what are we going to do about the falcon menace!"
wow that sounds amazing ! the colours on them cardinals and owl pic iare loverly !
you wount believe this , I was in back garden standing there and the hawk came back looking for the prey ! I then got the dead starling that was in corner an put it in middle of garden and looking from window it came down again shortly an got a pic before it took starling away with it how looky am I , I can confirm its a sparrowhawk
I'll try and do it today before lunch when I haven't eaten for a while and my blood sugar is stable. I think I will check it 30min before smoking, right before, and 30min after. Any other suggestions?
