Planted seeds for a new grow but my floor temperature is 63 degrees. Yikes. I'd like to get it at 75.

Anyone have any experience with germinating seeds at lower temps? I just dropped them in the soil.

I honestly have no idea.. I've only ever harvested one plant and couldn't even tell you what the dry weight was for it! Somebody here will be able to give you a rough estimate. It's something like a third of the wet weight maybe..

insulate pots from the floor.the floor saps cold from anything faster than not on the floor. survival 101 get off the ground when its colder out to maintain heat and energy. same thing for seedlings.a heat/warming/seedling mat is prefered for me. and luke warm water in the bottle for smaller several waterings a day.works well just a little more involved. polystyrene is good and cheap 1/2 inch minimum,but would use an inch of polystyrene and a thin simple dense foam pad on top. works for me anyways. blow warm air in if you can from an external heater that doesnt scorch air verses gradually warms is. metal coil heater scorch air. usually you'll need to maintain some RH percentage.

fully enclose temps at lights off to maintain any warmth in there with the heating mat. works well to maintain soil temp. soil temp is key usually.or hell completely swap your timer cycles backwards so its on at the coldest part of the days/evenings. i did that once,works well too.
