no, I usually get so much resin, sun is more intense poleward because atmosphere is thinner at the poles, like higher elevation in more temperate latitudes, so, I don't trim anything that has lots of resin on it, just smoke it. I do have a little trim accumulate and smoke that too, when the bud runs out, usually right before the next harvest. Planning on growing 2x the plants this coming season, the goal RSO

Goodmorning AFN!

Going shopping at the grow shop today. Have to stock up while there are some money left.

I was looking at Advanced Nutrients....they have a microbe food, containing yeast extract, sucrose and glucose.

Why haven't I thought of that before? It's the same food that goes into an agar plate for growing microbes. I don't want to pay for their formula. A biochemist can do the math himself.

Thinking about sources for yeast extract.

Are you Britons awake?

I got an idea ... one can use the lab products tryptone and yeast extract...but I have a cheaper suggestion: combine Marmite and molasses.

Any comments?

Morning Dr. I have used Advanced Nutrients and have switched to Remo no particular reason other than it's the new kid on the block and like Advanced it's Canadian . I also use molasses 1 tbl spoon per gal of water which I have reduced to 4 ml per gal as I was using too much according to the experts . So far so good on my current grow which there is no journal for because I'm lazy and if my grow goes in the toilet ( which in my opinion they all have ) nobody knows . No clue what Marmite is !!
