I agree with you 100%. I think everyone does my boss asked a good question:
You have two billionaires running for president of the United States which only pays a salary of $400,000.00 a year. They both have poured.m millions into their campaigns. Why do they want to be president so bad?

I believe the answer is they both desire the power that comes with being the president. You could say that Trump wants to be president to improve the United States as far as businesses goes. You could say that Clinton wants to be president to complete her legacy and also become the first female president. She has obviously lived her entire life as a politician and president would be the icing on the cake so to speak.

I however think they are both power hungry. They both already possess a lot of power without being president, but being president is a whole new level of power. I don't think past presidents have ran because of this reason though.
