That new crystal candy Sounds like it can get pretty big! And the profile sounds right up my Ally!!! It's officially on the to do list when my cream caramel and Mandarin are done.
How many phenos are you finding amongst the crystal candy auto and is there a favorite to look out for?
Great question pete

Sweet, you horrible teases, saving the SV Lemon Kush for last! This is a lemony cut of San Fernando Valley OG in her parentage? :eyebrows:

Sweet friends, I think last time we talked a little about genetics,... Was it you guys that said something about the amazingly low % ruderalis genome content that's in the auto strains at this point? It blew me away how powerfully the auto gene can is expressed,... I gather, some sort of full genetic assay/mapping has been done, or is the % content based on other theoretical calculations?

Cheers Waira!

Manolo says each time we cross an auto with a photoperiod-dependent plant the % of ruderalis is reduced by half. Hence, a new generation. Now we go with the 5th Generation.

When we first started (1st generation) we started with a genetic that was already a 2nd cross, so it had 25% of ruderalis. Starting from this:

1G = 25%
2G = 12,5%
3G = 6,25%
4G = 3,125%
5G = 1,56125%

So, we could say that our 5th generation autoflowering strains feature about 1,5% of ruderalis.

Sweet smokes!

Fifth of our 5 new strains for 2017:

SAN FERNANDO LEMON KUSH:

Excellent hybridization between two of our best elite clones coming from USA genetics. In the cross takes part a selected clone of San Fernando Valley OG Kush, one of the oldest and most original OG Kush genetics, characterized by a pleasant and complex OG Kush scent, with strong presence of the lemony aroma coming from the Lemon Thai that takes part in the original OG Kush cross. The other elite clone that intervenes in the cross is a Kosher Kush, a modern genetic from the OG Kush family very appreciated in the zone of Los Angeles and nearby areas (California).

The aroma of this strain is very pleasant and intense, with original lemony tones of OG Kush and hints of solvent, notes of spices, wood and blue cypress.

The plants look like Indica-Sativa hybrids leaning to the Sativa side.

This type of American varieties with strong presence of the limonene terpene are highly appreciated in the USA for cannabic extractions.
