Are you putting it directly on the buds? Or on something else...say a sponge....and enclosing that with the flowers?

Well when I tried the vanilla I used a coffee filter/cotton ball to hang it in a small mason jar. This time I used a cotton ball in a food saver ziplock style bag. The bud NEVER TOUCHES the flavoring as I know it would be fucked up then. The idea is to trap the smell in the air with the weed causing the bud to soak up the smell/little bit of moisture that's in the air.

I used 1.3 grams of weed. I can't smoke right now so I am just experimenting with shit and giving others free samples of weed!!

Hey also I noticed that there seem to be less people around in this live stoners thread... perhaps they didn't know there was a new one? When you guys hide the thread or whatever you should make the last post a link tothe new live stoners.

I wasn't aware and I was like wtf why did they lock the post? I could still access it via notifications. I of course went searching and found this one.

I got you. I was just making sure it wasn't on the buds...Like you say, it would probably cause a problem. Sounds like an interesting experiment! Maybe you can do @IndicaIVoz a favor and flavor some with some Vegimite!

It's actually been common practice for us to retire the popular threads after so many posts; but hold on to your butts because I'm going to be doing a major overhaul to this and Introductions here pretty quick lol. We'll vacuum up the drywall dust and try not to get paint on the fresh floors. Just moving a few things around, consolidating. I think everything I'm doing is pretty visible when you look at the section without having to venture too deep, but I could attempt to write up a change log too I suppose.

Uhh so the vanilla experiment didn't seem to work very well, I am only judging that by the smell though. I guess weed and vanilla just don't mix well?

BUT! I also tried to flavor some weed banana and so far so good! Smells absolutely wonderful. I took it out the bag today and well it smells like a banana runt would taste, and some weed smell too! Don't ask me why the smell of banana and weed mix well together but they do! I know it has obtained the smell, but the true quest is to infuse my weed with banana flavor.

I have it sitting outside the bag right now to dry up real good, it's not wet though but I can tell by the feel it is somewhat moist, but it would still break up fine. Gonna throw it back in the bag in a few minutes.

I can't smoke so I am gonna have one of my friends come pick it up. He doesn't mind being mind guinea pig at all. Could taste like ass, could taste like banana, or it could just taste like weed. I don't know yet but I'll post what happens, if it works I'll make some kind of guide on how to do it for those that are interested.
