Have to do a quick "give props where they're due" type thing and say that I'm LOVING TLO soil style growing. If you haven't read up on it, and grow in soil, check out the sticky posts over in the organics section dealing with TLO and/or Supersoils. I'm nursing a little photoperiod plant along in the closet with the autos to try and use it as a mother plant, and she was looking not well. Transplanted to a bigger pot, packed her into some TLO soil leftover from the two Autos currently going, and gave it a dose of one small dose of a compost tea formulated for new root growth about a week ago. Since then it's been plain water only. Never tried to figure out if it's was a shortage of N, P, K, something else, etc..etc.... Just gave her the TLO mix and it seems to be sorting out what it needs for itself just fine.
Before on the left...
