Anyone grown out any "Freedom of Seeds" strains before? Sounds like they've got some fast, small stuff. Was looking at one, "Pixie Punch Auto" that their description claims "4-5 weeks from sprouting seed to finish in a 20/04 light cycle indoors". Tempted to get some to see if they live up to that. They're running a big regular seed mix pack freebie promo on Herbies Auto site right now is what caught my attention.
Yeay...try that. 4-5 weeks is a very short time. Can't allow much time and energy to vegging, but if they say so, why not try?
I am very happy with the grow times FastBuds claims for their strains. Under my discount light I expect a somewhat slower growth, but no, both my West Coast OG and Green Crack is soon down. Last WCOG is on water until Saturday and 2/6 Green Crack are down. The grow is completed within the 8-9 weeks as the FB catalogue says.

Think a big part of it on their 4-5 week claim has to be the 20 hours a day of lighting. They jump to advertising 9 weeks if you grow the same strain outdoors so they must be counting on a lot of photosynthesis from a long indoor light cycle to really speed things along. I don't know if I want 18 regular seeds bad enough to go for their offer anyway, though. Love growing autos in the closet too much to switch to regulars, and going to be a while before I'll need something new for the photoperiod tent. Just catches my eye when someone says buy a three pack and we'll give you five times plus that many free.

You mean the rigid foam insulation?? Yes the silver sided stuff works good
Yeah it's reflective on the outside, but some kind of foam/bubble stuff on the inside. Gonna use it for the walls in my grow room... tired of having such a small space to work in. I built a 8x8 wooden grow room with a floor a while ago but haven't actually put it to use yet but I'm about to. I've been in town all day long handling business. I'm currently using a 5x5x6 grow tent that works well but it's a bitch to work in when I've got 6 plants in there. My grow room is 8x8x7 which will help a lot.
