the twin thing is strange,they were dif height upto day 28ish.i should have made note of what the orange crack was,its in the mephisto thread somewhere.
a few more things i forgot about.
over winter it can get real cold,so i put a speed controller on the fan.£7 the fan is only 14w so this is ok i think,it dont make a hum or make the tv go wobbly.
if your filter is out of sight check it more often.
they reccomend washing the pre filter every X i say have a spare ready to go,you dont have time to fuck about if there is a stink.

£3 ebay can get some with a lil attachment for fones but the pic is round with blurry edges so shit.but its fantastic for the eye,i had a look the other day and found em for £1.51 so got 3 more.
handy lil dropper bottles marked in 0.1ml a full squirt is .5ml keeps a bit of the stink down from stuff like fish mix.
i use old 250/500/1000ml biobizz nute bottles to mix fed and water.
not handy if you feed by the gallon.
searched high and low for one these for less than £20
argos had them all along for £10
but most importantly if you in argos
