I'll probably keep to the basics for my next grow, but thinking further down the line I may be interested in applying sog to an auto grow. I'll grow with fluoro's which I'm thinking would suit sog as the light isn't needed to penetrate the initial canopy.

However I'm a little confused as to the extent that pruning should be applied to the plants. If I had four auto's growing in square pots at 4 per square foot should I just allow the main buds to grow and prune the rest? Or should some be saved/tied closer to the main stem?

Also can anyone recommend a good auto strain for this? I understand that Indica strains are preferred as they stay short and bushy.

Thanks

Anyone recommend any good auto single cola types that would work well for a SOG grow?

I like Cobra a lot for SOG. Most of the time I just breed my own crosses with Cobra, Blue Hymalaya, Dragons, Jems, Snowryder, and a few others. You can ask me any in particular that I have tried and I'll give my opinion. I haven'st SOGed them all but over fifty kinds for sure. I would stay away from any of the supers they are just too big.
