In my most recent lurkings (thanks for that badge, BTW) I've been looking at mixing my own soil as an alternative to using APFP again. All the info I come across is for these tremendous grow operations, but I'm growing one plant at a time, so it seems excessive to start out with 40 or so pounds of cocoa husks and six 55 gallon drums and all that jazz.
Of course I embellish, but you get my drift. I'm one guy growing one plant 20 times in my closet (so far lol) so I just wanna know what to put in the pot for the next one, or should I go back through APFP provided the grow completes well?

tl;dr - How do you mix just add water soil for one plant?

A Pot For Pot. They sell grow kits with "everything but the seed sun and water". Easy setup, just wondering if since I've got the pot (drum sting) can I make the dirt?
