This is only a mock up as the starts are not ready to go in the big pots yet.
Cut the bottom legs off a tomato basket to give your bucket a place to sit, higher than your pots is all that matters. Drill / cut a hole in the bottom of the bucket and put a bulkhead fitting in there. Then with a thread / barb fitting you fasten to the bucket on one end and the barb goes into what ever hose your using.
Lay the hose thru the garden and put one emmitter in each pot. They come with their own little barb fittings so you just poke a hole in the hose and shove the barb in, attach the right length of dripper hose and a drip emmitter on its end. These can be held in place with small wires bent like a hook and shoved in the dirt, i like my emitter close to the main stalk. Pressure compensated emitters work the best, any size you want. Probably find .5, .7 or 1.5 gph at a box store.
Put this together and do a test, just lay the emmiters in their own pot tray to catch the water. Pour the 5 full and watch it for a half hour, youll be ammazed at the uniformity.
Look the pictures over and ask any questions you like. This is automated by simply plumbing into a house waterline and adding a timer to turn it on for you. No pump!
