Im wanting to try LEDS but they are all pretty exspensive per watt but these are advertised as 500w that have 432w of leds power for $499..Im wondering if its a true 432w's or if its like half of that...If u know or have one let me know please....Also talked to victor today about the 500w blackstar 310w of draw and he was gonna hook me up for $450 for 1 that has a scratch on it plus free shipping..Now i need to make up my mind or if im just gonna get another 600w quatum with adjust a wing and i have a hortilux 600w bulb already..Any and all opions r welcome have only a few days to make up my mind..Will have STICHES new beans DR FEELGOOD AND BHD in a week or so(prob less) wanna try them under led for comparisson..And no i cant afford 1 of the 1000+ untis that only draw 300w and use the same spectrums and lens angles ect...So its either a Blackstar or HTG's new 7 band..Thanks and Peace:peace::toke:

yeah i like blackstar to but u see bad reports on both HTG and BLACKSTAR..Some say BS is made really cheaply when u open up the board and a film covering the leds(just what ive read)..Im just wanting to try leds but it seems to be harder than it should be...And these companies charging 4 bucks per true watt is crazy...HPS is .50 a watt at most leds should be 1.25 a watt and then they would be affordable..

If you search the forum you will find quite a few people using blackstars and getting good results..check out my sig grow,I only use a 180w and it's worked great for my small tent..also if your space is large you would be better getting say 2x240w rather than 1 500w,you core area is reduced with one panel in a big space,if your space is small one panels enough..
Check this link out too mate it may have some info for you https://www.autoflower.org/f43/bring-your-led-setups-here-2491.html

I agree with Red, go with several smaller ones instead of one big one. You will get better core coverage and have the added flexibility of being able to raise and lower them independently to compensate for different height plants. The 240 watt that HTG is selling looks to be the same light as the Blackstar 240. I've got two Blackstars in one area and a GLH in another. The GLH is a better light, but also almost 3x the cost of the Blackstar.

When looking at comparative costs, don't forget to factor in the savings on electricity and replacement HPS bulbs. In the long run, LED comes out cheaper.
