Hey guys thanks for the help..I dont like using timers as ive read and heard about to many fires due to the timers burning up..The above picture is great very nice

I'm on 24/0 too for my ER. I chose that 'cuz I was hoping she'd get done faster. She's still going to probably go for 70 days. I deff can't see a downside, but there are more arguments supporting a dark period, so for my next grow I'll try something different.

I ran 24/0 on my last led run and have no complaints. Was the dankest shit in town.

No doubt thanks everyone..I have previously done 18/6 and 20/4 and didnt notice a difference but they where different strains so prob doesnt tell the story..Again running different strains so know way to really find out but these strains im gonna try and get some beans from by using the silver shit as they r fem seeds...

I plan on running 24/0 for the first two weeks then changing to 20/4.

Cosz

i read that plants grow more in darkness look it up

My first grow I am using 24/0. I will try 20/4 next grow...

i'm currently running 24/0 but think i'll switch when im girls really start to flower but they seem to be doing great so far.

It's not so much the lighting, but the root warmth, esp. in outdoor space- greenhouse, bldg. I live @ 35.6 Lat. . My girls did well until temps dipped under 28F at night. Moved them inside to finish. Getting 14-15 hrs of sunlight, plants still grew nicely being in the warm zone during the day. Used Wall-o-water tube shrouds to keep heat in at night or dark plastic bottles (1.5 qt) to heat during the day, dissapate at night. Started in April outside w/ Wall-o-Water...no problems . Light inside (cabinet), I do 20/4...saw 20% appreciable difference than 24 on. Twenty percent is not much, but when it's in grams, yep, a difference!! Botany minor in college....plants do better if periods of light/darkness. Photos esp....I did 13.5/11.5 to flower....muy wonderful!

Question: Since I've had my ER on 24/0 the whole time, start to (almost) finish, would it be "stupid" to give her that 24 - 48 hr dark period right before harvest?
What about going to something like 22/2 or 20/4 or 18/6 last two or three days? Or just leave her at 24/0 and chop from there?
I'm happy with the way things have gone thus far, I'm just wondering if I can do anything to give her that last little bit now at the end.
