Nutrients Anyone run FloraFlex yet?

I guess nobody has used these here? I will report my feedback. I have to make a formula, since theirs is crazy high. I will be adding Cal-Mag at .3 EC and then adding A/B powder to create a mix of 1.2 EC total. This will be my base to start and will adjust as plants needs tell me. Hopefully it is as easy as that, according to Flora Flex the nutes are very pH stable, I will be using the Flora Flex kits with Coco and 6 inch pots. I will start a thread once started, hopefully Friday when they arrive. Peace, slow

Hey I just got a bunch of Flora Flex kits and nutes to try. I am about to make some Veg water for the first time. I use RO water, so I will add my Calmag first to raise the EC to .3. then add .75g of V1 and V2. I will check the EC and adjust strength up if needed. Looking for 1.2 ish EC total . Will report back in a bit. Peace, slow

Just made water. I added 10ml of Calmag, then .75 V1 and .75 V2. This mix came to about .7-.8 EC. That is too low for my liking, so I kept adding it in .5 increments. A total of 2.0 EC of V1 and V2 made it about 1.0-1.1 EC. The pH was 5.8-5.9. I added a couple drops of pH UP, and it rose to 6.0-6.1. I will make the water next time with 2.25g of Each V1 and V2. This will be close to 1.2 EC. Possibly 2.5g each. Regardless, that is not much. I usually use 3 gal jugs to mid my nutes. So that would be 7.5g per gal of V1 and V2 each. I will plan on feeding them the Veg nutes for 3 weeks, or until they preflower well. Then I will switch to the B1 and B2 for flower. I will keep the ratio of 1:1 for the first week or 2 of flowering and adjust the ratio to 1 to 1.25 or 1.5 of B1 to B2. B2 is basically PK, so adjustments of B2 will be the equivalent of adding a booster.

I would like to point out that these nutes are VERY clean looking. Unlike most nutes, the V1 has no red tint to it due to Iron. The powders are white and the mix is almost clear looking. This makes me confident that the lines should stay relatively clean. I would also like to point out that the pH was very close to my preferred range, so only a minor amount of pH up or Silica is required to raise the pH. I was told that the nutes are very stable, which is a must with Automated set ups. So far so good. I am very pleased with how it dissolved. Very pleased with the strength of the powders, the nutes will last a long time at a rate of 2.5g per gal of 2 powders. Starting 4 SOUR CRINKLE seeds in a few minutes. I will take some pics of the 6 inch pots and the set up later. I will say the pots are smaller than I expected, but that's ok. I will have the plants eating multiple times per day and never will dry out. I like small pots, and I am confident that this is going to crush it. Will share my experience with the nutes as we go along. Gonna precharge my Coco with the 1gal jug I just made. I bought 135 of the 6 inch Coco slabs...so I have enough for 135 plants. Happy to have that here instead of buying bags and driving to Detroit to get Char Coir bags. Looking forward to seeing how this stuff works, wish me luck. I am not aware of other using these nutes on here, if so...please chime in and share your experiences. Thanks, slow

I will be using 4 of the 6 inch compressed bricks that fit perfectly for each pot. Down to 131 Coco slabs, they come in boxes of 45...I got 3 boxes. Will wait til morning and water them good. I will plant the seeds tomorrow night. Peace, slow

Hey I guess this is a party on 1 for now. I just hydrated my 4 Flora Flex 6 inch pots and it took the whole gallon. I have to make another gal and will use maybe half of it to hydrate properly. I will toss a little Mycos in the future planting hole andhydrate more to get a little runoff in each pot. I dig these bricks because they literally are perfect sized and amount for the pot and I can store enough Coco for 6-12 months easily. The nutes remained 5.9 pH, so very stable so far! I am feeling good about this set up and impressed so far with the ease of mixing and strength. I will start with 8ml of Calmag this time and 2.5g of V1 and V2. I am aiming for 1.2 EC max for now. I will accept 1.0-1.2 for now, as that is the strength of MC I use. The pH was very close yesterday, so I will only add a few drops at a time of UP. I am hoping these nutes work well. I can say without question that they are very quick and clean dissolving. I will keep a close eye on the pH when I put the pump/timer on in a week. I will handwater for the first 5-7 days and then start the floods for a few second multiple times per day...to no or minimal runoff for now.

So I made another jug of nutes. I used 8ml of Calmag. 2.75g V1 and V2 each
EC was 1.0-1.1. pH was 5.7 and I raised to 6.0. this stuff is nice to mix. I will up the V1 and V2 to 3.0g each once I see good growth. That should be 1.2 EC or so. I will keep responding to this Thread til I hook the dripper up and will start a new Thread to show that part and see how this formula does. Peace, slow

Did you get the kits as samples? I've heard of the company but never seen their nutes in action before; I'll try to reach out this week to see if we can get a rep on-board.

Also got your PM, not ignoring you :pighug: I'll try to follow up here in a day or two.

They didn't give me everything thing for Free, but a 30% off total order was given for a savings of $190. I am super impressed with the nutes dissolving and strength of the nutes should make the bags last a while at this rate. Only time will tell if the formula I made is right or not. I am just going by a 1 to 1 ratio for now, with 8ml of Calmag per gal. This is going to be fun, I have a feeling this thread is going to have people jumping on board. I am a big fan of small pots and very frequent waterings with Coco. These pots are the 6 inch pots and ONLY hold 1/2 gal of Coco. I have a plan to increase my pot size if needed for larger Strains. For now I will be trying 4 Sour Crinkle seeds. I have grown plenty of this Strain, so I know what it does normally for me. I have used small pots and drip stakes many many times in the past. This is an upgraded Automated top feeding method. I have high expectations for the kits performance. The nutes are new to me, so my only challenge is to dial in a new formula and set the timer correctly. Thanks for looking at this thread, I hope the Nute formula works well.. I have faith that this feeding method is going to to rock. Peace, slow

So I hooked up all of the lines to the BUBBLER/Manifold. I am just waiting for the seeds to pop up and will give them a few days to handwater. Then I will turn the pump/Flood Caps. I am really looking forward to seeing these work. The nutes seem to be stable, hopefully my formula is ok. Only time will tell. I am excited, because I already know they will work and I I can easily modify them f needed. The nutes are a mystery, but I have enough experience to adjust levels if needed. I am trying to find a veg base. Which I will, and tweak from there. Peace, slow
