Old Reviews Anybody using Growlab tents?

I'm looking at buying a Growlab g80l (2'7" x 4'11" x 6'7") which seems to be the best size for the space I have in my room.

just wondering if anyone has anything positive or negative about Growlab tents in general...?

I own a small 2'x2'x5'3". Only negative thing is it isn't 100% light tight. I also know of other growers with the same complaint on their growlabs. Have you looked into Secret Jardin's? Probally the best tent out there, IMO.

Yeah, the discontinued DR150w is about the same size..(59" x 31.5" x 79")

i got a grow medic which looks similar to the one you are asking about. I also got a secret jardin. The SJ is far superior in many categories that you dont notice until your using it every day. The SJ has a better thought out and stronger frame. Better to hang and unzip.... Also has less noise so it keeps in much of the sounds. I'd say it also has better airflow as I am always wiping dust from its vents. Better hole placements for flexible setups....

thanks akito. I'll likely buy the SJ DR 150W when I return from holiday. It is the previous generation and discontinued but hopefully the quality is still decent.

Cowboy I just wanted to chime in since I just purchased and setup my new gl145. I was also comparing the SJ vs GL and I can tell you that I dont understand at all why the SJ are more expensive! First of all,
the SJ tent is only rated for 65lb weight limit for hanging lights, filters , and fans. When the grow lab is rated for over 100lbs. Also the grow lab has a roof mounted sock that allows for very easy setup of a fan. In my opinion, the SJ is way over priced for its features vs the grow lab. I was able to compare the old SJ 150 vs pro II 150 vs grow lab 145 at my hydro shop and for me there is no comparison in price. Yes my hydro shop was the same price on all 3 but I found the grow lab over $70 cheaper online than all 3 and its way better built. If you have any questions I will gladly answer them since I have been inside all 3 tents.

I'm really on the fence here. I want to go big but I have to keep reminding myself that I need to be somewhat discreet here. Having the best sized tent is a priority over saving money. I live in the north so I pay way too much for just about everything I buy.

I totally understand cowboy. Just wanted to throw my experience over the last 2 months. I was going from two 3x2 closets to this huge gl145 so it kinda a shock with how much space I have. Right now I have 9 autos in the tent and I could easily double that with no problem at all.
