Coco coir and perlite. She's 5 inches tall. I tied her down earlier,but I didn't like the looks of it. Her nodes are very close together and it looked as if I was doing more harm than good. Looked like I was covering/shading more nodes than I was exposing.

Well, from everything I've read online, the QB LED and Coco coir cause Cal mag deficiency, so I figured it couldn't hurt. I'll get a pic up in a bit. She is 5 weeks ,but I think I stunted her a lil at 1st. Over watered and light was too close I think. Or maybe not. Not real sure. My first grow.

I guess I didn't read part where you said you stunted her lol my bad yeah I had one I dunno if was bad seed or something I did lol I thought was hilarious cost more per gram then the dispensary

Yeah no need to stress more if you believe it's stunted too it's very healthy looking so potential is there eaither way hope Jack takes off for you

I think I'll let the jack just grow how she grows. I will however LST the blue berry when it gets a lil bigger. I'm scared to mess the jack up anymore than I may have already done.

Well got almost 5 weeks out the initial gaia feeding again before really needing to top dress Sorry about the crappy pic but had a fan mishap and lady is a little stressed lol

I've been watching this guy and can't believe how easy his grow method is and he seems to get solid results. Basically he grows in coco mixed with a little perlite and 4tbs of 4-4-4 from Gaia Green per gallon and just waters for the first month. Then all he does is top dress with a mixture of 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 every 3 weeks or so, nothing else.

Every other thing I see seems to require a dozen ingredients to start or to be feed throughout the grow and this just seems too good to be true, but he swears by it. I searched the forum and couldn't find anyone bashing him and only a few people talking about him.

p.s Gaia Green seems to only be readily available in Canada, Dr. Earth seems to be the US equivalent.

I love this guy. Every sunday I am just waiting for his updates.

I ended up trying to get some Dr Earth but it turns out that they have two versions of the Flower Girl. I ordered a bag that showed 3-9-4 in the pic online and that's not what I got. Ended up swinging by the hydro shop and picking up an organic 4-8-4 that I'll try. I don't think the extra N will actually hurt anything the way this is growing. I've heard of people running all-purpose through the whole grow

Yeah I figure don't matter much.as long as all the proper ingredients in the mix the soil does all the work I litterally priced out all the raw amendments that in the mix think I'm going to try make my own mix. From what I've read it's hard to really hurt your plants with organic material worst case I have extra amendments to add with my gaia green lol
