New Grower any opinions on these odd looking flowers

Forgot to add that even under 24 hours of light, a semi auto will start trying to flower (slowly) if it starts to get rootbounnd or stressed, so it can be hard to keep a semi auto mother plant long term.

Thanks for the explanation I have been looking everywhere for info on semi auto's with no luck whatsoever. real bummer I got stuck with so much invested in these mislabeled seeds

I switched the lights to 12/12 the other day to try to get this plant to finish, it had been ay 18/6

Do you think its worth trying to flower the plant 12/12 after the the re-vegging?

No problem bud!
It will begin flowering fully at 12/12 very quickly, unfortunately it will never look as good as if it had not revegged a bit as the structure has been changed. In my experience, one ends up with some stringy buds but it will still be the same quality as it would have been, just no nice big solid colas. I would think it's still worth it, as you say you have invested a bit into getting it this far...

The other option is to transplant it to a larger container and completely reveg it at 24 hrs light until it grows normal leaves again, then reflower it again. That way it would bud out normally.

I wish I had the room for it as it is 2 of these plants are taking up 1/2 my grow area now. I had LST'd and topped them fairly extensively so they are just these massive bushes at this point

I see hash in my future.

Thanks again!

Do you think I am at a higher risk of hermie or bananas from the previous underdeveloped budsites?

I don't think so, but then again hermies can be very unpredictable. As long as it's not stressing for any other reasons I think it will be fine once it knows what it's supposed to do. I had a hermie prone blueberry do this reveg business to me outside last year with no nanners at all...
Edit:
Was great smoke too! :jointman:

Thanks again for the insight, hopefully this thread will help out someone else too!
