Cool idea man. It seems you can see light though from the sides of panel.
Sweet idea though, maybe put some weather stripping around edges on the inside.

Here's a couple pics of my secret room.

Had 2 closets in a room in a home just moved into. One of the closets didn't have a door and was an under the stairs storage closet. Just put a wardrobe in front of it and cut out a door in the back panel of wardrobe. Drilled holes in back of wardrobe and placed neodymium in them, then placed more magnets on other side of back panel to keep door closed. Takes a nice little push to pop door open.
I have items on shelves in wardrobe now to help disguise even more. No pictures of inside closet cause I'm just starting out so nothing in there now. Just getting everything ready.

welcome to AFN Slow2Gro!!!

to tell the truth it wasn't up to par when i shot that vid, i've kinda let it go and never even put the shelf back...hahaha no really, i used to get well we will call them "inspections" from the "bad inspection people" and i gotta grow my meds man...gotten a lil relaxed i guess.

i like your room bro...mite take a few ideas from it as i intend to enclose all my rooms....

When I get my condo I will be setting up a secret room. My plans are to section off some space in a main living area and disguise it as a cool looking wall design all the way across so it looks like a decorative wall. Guys check out hidden or "concealed hinges" online and you will find nice ones to cover up any gapping while installing a door opening that will look seamless like the wall. I built a panic room for a guy and it's what I used to conceal the outer non secure door to the panic room followed by biometric scanners for the steel blast door.

Oh btw if your secret room is outside of a carpeted area remember to vacuum outside that door often otherwise there will be a wear pattern on your carpet that most cops will instantly notice if they are with narco.
