Extraction Any advice for general Rosin Press use?

Not just terpenes but yes terpenes.

No, No matter what you do with them short of co2 extraction all you are going to get is tar, so no I do not bother with freezing them. I used to just keep them in a gallon zip-lock bag on the work bench. A opossum decided it like to eat them and would sneak into the garage if I left the walk door open and eat them - ALL of them. Now I put them in jars. I think the opossum got hit by a car last month as there was a dead one in the main street not to far away. I know she had babies last year so they are probably still around.

You may be a neighbor. I saw that possum.

I've been reading a lot of different places saying ideal humidity of flower for pressing is 55 to 62%. Is that accurate?

If so then Grove Bags definitely seem like a great idea since they maintain your flower at that range automatically for curing and storing without burping like you have to do with glass jars.

Excited to have first harvest hopefully in next few weeks and start experimenting!

Any info would be great!

Just thought I would add here something that has worked great for me.

Before pressing I put my scraping tool and small cast iron pan in freezer.

Once those are cold I do my presses and put parchment paper in freezer for like 10 minutes.

Take out the pan and set it bottom side up and use that as my work surface to put parchment on. Then with everything cold it scraps off nice and easy.

Sometimes rosin doesn't want to come off scraper into silicone so I put scraper in parchment paper back into freezer for 10 minutes and it usually comes off easier.
