Another harvest question

I greatly appreciate all the suggestions. I have some mini digital hydrometers and a 10 pack of the 62% Boveda packs on order. As for drying I just built a dry box today. It's a large cardboard box, carbon filter, computer fan, and an infinite cycle timer. It's based off of the one from here.

No moisture is not the reason fro burping the jars. oxygen is needed to break down the chlorophyll. The process in the jar uses up the available o². Curing will stop without it and the grass flavor will remain.
Chlorophyll is broken down and consumed during the drying process is it not?

I would advise not to have a fan in the box. Cut a square hole in the lower corner of the box and a another square hoke in the opposite side at the top of the box on the side. Air circulation around the box is good. Blowing air onto the buds will dry it out to fast. Slow dry is what you are after.

You can get an idea of the box at my journal here

The fan is actually mounted to the top of the box blowing out. It's also a very low volume fan. I bought a high and a low and settled on the low for the dry box. I have passive intakes on the bottom of both sides. I was planning on using the infinite cycle timer to run the fan for a few minutes every hour to change out some of the air in the box.

I think you may still have too much air movement. Passive air movement, just having some holes cut in the box, could be all that's needed for not-too-fast drying.

I often dry in sealed free U.S. Postal Service boxes with some holes punched in the sides. Not all that different from brown paper bags.

fwiw, me like the box  ppp

I appreciate the quick reply. You have a firm grasp of my situation. I guess it was poor planing on my part. As a noob grower I thought I was doing good when my research said to plan on closer to 11 weeks than the 9 that the seller was saying. But little did I know I'd be still staring at this thing 84 days (12 weeks) later.

I was thinking that I could get a couple days of flushing in (hydro) and take her down this weekend. That would give me 15 days to dry and do the initial cure before we leave.

Some breeders give FLOWERING TIME for autos, not seed to harvest times.
GrowersChoice says 60-63 days of flowering time for Blueberry Auto.
Most of my autos flower in the 5th or 6th week, and if that's the case with Blueberry, then you could expect to harvest after as much as 14-15 weeks.
I've grown their CriticalPurple, and it took about 13 weeks from seed to harvest.

I don't think 3 1/2 days will affect what you do very much.
Harvesting a few days early, or a few days late won't matter.
Not burping for 3 1/2 days probably won't hurt.

Even badly cured herb is still pretty good.
