Hey everyone I thought I would get this started. Since this is my first grow I'm keeping it simple. I'll be going out there next Sat. and will get some pics then, and will do updates every 2 weeks after that as I visit my grow. I welcome any, and all comments.

  1. Plants - 5 of Heavyweight's Fast and Vast, 4 of Advanced - Blue Diesel
  2. Location - Outdoors
  3. Method - 1 week after 100% germination, I dug a whole in the ground, cut the bottom out of a 3 gallon pot, put some potting soil in the hole, put the bottomless pot in, filled it with potting soil, back-filled around the pot, planted seedling, repeated 8 more times.
  4. Nutrients and Such - Regular watering with Recharge
I'll hit them with some Grow next Sat. they'll be at day 24 then. Add a dose of Bloom 2 weeks later. That will probably be it as far as extra nutrients go. I'm thinking about spraying them with the Neem oil next week as a preventative.

The location is good I think. Hard to spot while getting 6+ hours a day of full direct sun.

I'll also be putting up some tomato cages, and chicken wire next week too.

My goal is 2 ounces a plant. That would supply me and my girl with about a years worth of medicine. We both use this plant as an alternative too opiates.

Thanks in advance for the input.

I have an Advanced Blue Diesel that I haven't planted yet. I'm interested to hear about your progress. I have to grow indoors, so there's no doubt that there will be differences, but trial and error is the best way to learn.

Also, if you're looking for a high-yielding auto, Auto Anubis from Pyramid Seeds might be a good strain to check out. I've been smoking recreationally for years, but decided started grow for medicinal purposes. I have ADHD, and cannabis helps with the edginess and loss off appetite, which are the two side effects I get from the stimulant I take. If nothing goes awry, she will be my very first successful harvest. She still has a few weeks left, but she looks like she could give us a pretty decent yield for a first harvest. We're using 4 - 4' T-5 lights; I bet the natural sun would boost yield quite a bit. I did a mold check yesterday, because we let our photo Afghani veg too long and we ended up with a humidity issue for a minute. Luckily, the buds were still babies when the humidity was at it's worst, so we're good, but I dried the clipping in the oven and my husband and I sampled a bit. It seems like it's going to be a really nice strain, considering we got a nice little buzz for a minute off some cannabis that still has some time left before harvest.

Good luck with your grow! Sorry for rambling, and I hope to hear more about your Blue Diesel.

Take care!

P.S. Not sure why my pic of my Auto Anubis (Sally) is attaching sideways, as it's upright on my phone.

I was informed that my plants took a bit of a beating in a rain storm. They got drooped over, but no breaks or crimps. They've been propped up an basically look unharmed.

They're about a foot tall on day 23.

I'm hoping this doesn't stress them and cause them to flower early before they finish stretching.

Any thoughts?

i used bamboo stakes on all of my plants outdoors they been beat by some pretty heavy rain and AS Blue Diesel that are left outdoors have just recently shown sex and as you have seen the other two girls that got dug up are budding not sure if this was stressed induced or because i had them under 24 hour light but it is weird anyways i think you will be fine as my plants took 3 days of heavy rain they were droopy but bounced back after they dried out but i would definitely encourage you to stake them up and small chicken wire cages are a great idea i put them around the other 4 autos that are left out didnt bother with my photos as some of them are pushing 5 foot right now i may have started them a tad early indoors lol

Too funny I already got a whole bunch of bamboo in my car for this weekend.

Your indoor plants looked like they are in small pots. I read somewhere that when autoflowers roots hit the side of the pot this will make them flower.

Also nice to hear my plants should be fine :)

ya they went in my small cfl case don't have much room for them else where so they got stuck in almost 1 gallon pots i couldnt just let them die out there though the super shrimpy one i think layed out of its hole for 2 or 3 days had almost no root ball on it when i found it its super fucked up but is still growing !
